Dr. Valerie Allen


Valerie Allen, Ed.D., NCSP, is a graduate of Florida Atlantic University.  Dr. Allen has been in private practice for over 25 years. 

She has taught graduate and undergraduate courses at Nova University, Pasco-Hernando Community College, Saint Leo University, University of South Florida, and Webster University.

Dr. Allen has worked in Florida as a teacher, guidance counselor, exceptional education specialist, and administrator in Brevard, Broward, and Pasco Counties. Dr. Allen has provided services for public, private, and home school students.

   Dr. Allen is  a member of  the  the  National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) and the Florida Association of School Psychologists (FASP). She  has served on the  Board of Directors of the local Brevard-Indian River Chapter of the Florida Psychological Association.  

   Dr. Allen continues to share her knowledge and expertise with presentations and seminars for parents, educators, and mental health professionals.  Her articles have been published nationally in parenting magazines and professional trade publications.  

   Dr. Valerie Allen is an advocate for families in distress. A portion of the proceeds from  her novels,  Suffer the Little Children and Sins of the Father 
is donated to benefit domestic shelters.
